Void - Official music video

Void was written in the midst of existential-angst, wondering whether romantic relationships, were really enough to fill "voids". In another classic unrequited love scenario, the Assam-originated singer-songwriter figured music could fill existential voids, instead of pining for somebody who didn't feel the same way. It's inspired by everything Bangalore -more specifically the cool auto-walla bhaiyyas and the road to Forum Mall, on the walk from their college to their PG; usually, the time they philosophize over everything, take things personally and later write songs about them while studying Psychology and knowing the root cause of why things go awry.
The idea of this video originated from the thin line between choosing to leave a relationship and wanting to move to better things vs. the grief one carries within themselves after it. The doubt and overthinking that kicks in after taking a hard decision for themselves and how the character in the film deals with them.
Cycling at night, a still from the video, explores the concept of freedom; the option of processing and feeling one's emotions after a break-up/drifting apart from somebody you thought, would definitely be a part of your life, in the long run. Figured that we can't really control people, just accept the situation for what it is; which could mean exploring one's own definitions of freedom, and contemplating life in the city streets.
